The Beauty of Music And Online Mastering

The beauty of music is undeniable, musicians, producers and engineers work hard to ensure that they produce meaningful and wonderful sounds that the listeners and fans can enjoy and play to enhance their daily life. The effect of music cannot be underestimated and as such musicians, producers and record labels care considerably about the music they release. An extension of that attention to detail is online mastering. Online mastering is helping the music industry ensure their products are high quality and sound clear and vibrant across as many playback systems as possible.

Cheap mastering does not always mean bad quality, in fact it is possible to get all the factors that make good mastering for low rates. Experienced engineer, high end analogue audio equipment, highly acoustically treated room and top quality control systems. It can on occasion be difficult to track down the right balance of cost and quality but you have come to the right place. Engineers must care about the music and not just treat it like any old job. Each musical release is unique and deserves the time and attention for itself as a unique product. The mastering engineer will listen with great care and make adjustments to frequency, level and stereo image to ensure that the music will translate and sound as good as it can wherever it gets played. This is an important procedure and your music deserves the best even if you have a limited budget. So do not compromise and get the quality your music deserves at a lower rate. It is possible to do.

Online Artist Management: Music Website And Blog Marketing Tips

This is just a follow up from Kurb promotion talking specific stuff for musicians websites and blogs when you’re dealing with music business and Online Artist Management. If you’re looking for music marketing services or free regular advice visit kurb’s music marketing, management, and blog! Here’s some tips on developing your artist blog or music website- posts spaced months apart make the site look dead and inactive, we need to get the posting frequency up so fans see that the band has an active presence and the website is worth coming back to or recommending. Our key outcomes for visitors that is: sign ups, sales, and social networks, free downloads must be prominent. Often I will include these prompts at the head of each post so visitors are always made aware of particular propositions we are pushing,

Having a lot of written content on your site is essential if you’re going to bring in Google traffic, so we need to produce written content. Usually when I’m doing content and branding work for Online Artist Management we aim for 1 post each week on the blog then we collate these 4 posts with any other content available to make up our monthly email mail out. I’ve been doing my blog for 2 years now but it averages 200 hits a day and I am never short of leads, when you can get that kind of traction you should be able to pick up fans without even the benefit of other more aggressive But I’ve written 300 posts in that time so that’s the kind of commitment you’re looking at, but from my perspective it’s worth it because I never have to look for “fans” now, there’s always someone ready to pay me for what I do.

It’s a great struggle for me because the written word is my natural medium, whereas a lot of artists find it more of a chore. If you can make this part of your promotion routine it would be great, with some other clients. I have to write their blogs etc. for them and I have to charge them significantly for this and it still doesn’t substitute for the artists directly contributing this to engage the fans. So you want to be concentrating on writing as much down as possible, but we also want strong visual content. Sounds like you’ve got the video stuff covered so I’ll wait and see what you come up with before making any detailed suggestions, although long term it probably be advisable to improve the presentation of your site, and also stay mindful of what exactly our key propositions are (whether that’s an email sign up or sale of a product or service)

I think initially we should start with a free song in exchange for an email sign up and to push the album, design a landing page for the album to push fans toward and also think about another page where we might develop an alternative offer compromised of other offerings outside your album. I have been doing some Google promo for bands and musicians website, but I think it’s important for us to discuss improving your homepage. I think you said you could do the changes yourself? I think it’s really important to get the feel of the site and social pages right before launching into some of our Artist Management and promotion strategies.

Reasons To Acquire Good Sound Effects That Will Suit Your Music Needs

Today, There are lot of reasons to use free sound effects in all of your projects. It is a part of every human nature that they will be attracted to things like free online sound effect and actions related to it and this is the reason why advertisements that have appeared on pop ups before have tend to work better and easily than the ones that are just posted over a website. So, in a sense, using them will surely get some people’s attention at the moment they enter your site.

Here, the only important part for using these music sound effects is to choose the right ones that will suit the identity of your website. For example, if you are making a new and improved website which will be meaningful to kids, then most probably it contains some cartoons that will fit the bill. There are others things that you can choose to experiment with various other effects and after that you can see yourselves the interchangeably between pages.

The only thing left here is that you have yet to point out is choosing the most reliable and memorable website where you can get all your sound effects from. It can be a challenge for you to get the online sound effect as most of them are not available and of course they will not jingle as good as you thought they would be . Some of them might have been recorded and re-recorded many times, so there is a chance that it will affect their music quality. If this is the case for sound effect quality, then you are definitely will be going through tough time while choosing the right kind of sound effects.

Otherwise, you may choose to use a software called Lime wire or maybe you can use any other Peer-to-Peer network site for good sound quality. But the only and main problem that will come your way is that most of them do not allow any form of preview option and some of these effects are just rubbish and they do not provide good music at all.

Ways to Online Music Promotions

If self designing online presence there are some simple blunders that artists, bands and labels make when they first start to build their website, MySpace, Facebook or other social media pages that turns away potential new fans and stops potential sales of their music.

At the very least one gets a free ReverbNation widget and puts it “above the fold” (at the top of your website where visitors can see it without scrolling down). It should be ensured that it is not set to auto play as visitors may also have other music playing when they land on the page, and there is nothing worse than a cacophony of different songs all playing at once on the PC. At the very least the visitor will switch their sound off, or close the site immediately.

Broken and mistyped links are the best way of telling visitors that are too busy to attend to the web presence and sending them elsewhere. They’ll probably think that the music has been given up and will move on. The construction of the website should not be rushed to MySpace, Facebook or other online pages. It should be ensured to take the time to test links carefully, and ask friends to do it too. One of the most common areas that links errors occur is in mail outs or newsletters. A friend should be asked to check the links in the newsletter or mail shot before sending it out, as there is nothing worse than delivering the newsletter twice. At best it looks unprofessional, at worst one will get marked as spam by his fans.

Most artists, bands or labels are quite content using their MySpace page as their main web presence which is a great way to start. However laying out a MySpace page is both restrictive and tricky, and whilst achieving a lot using a professional designer or MySpace profile design tool, if desiring to be taken seriously by the music industry to register own web domain and get a well designed website.

Useful Websites For Online Music Promotions

The websites MySpace, Facebook and other online social media sites should be kept to the point. Bio’s brief should be kept and to the point, make sure it only includes relevant information. It should be ensured to filter only the best reviews, content, pictures, music and other assets for the website; everything should not be pasted just to make it look like there is more background than one has. Less is more, and posting every tenuous piece of information on the web presence will make the page look cluttered, desperate and unprofessional. It should be kept clean, and in high quality.

Music website should be kept on topic. Whilst background information in the Bio may be useful if targeting a certain type of fan and wanting them to feel an affinity, it is not helpful to post the latest updates on Swine Flu, or other non music related information on the website. Visitors will have probably found the website from another online source and are expecting it to deliver what they came there for – the music, so it should be ensured the content of the bands website contains relevant information that serves the visitor’s expectations.

There is nothing that turns off fans and potential sales than a misplaced ego. Whilst it’s important to be confident, getting high and mighty about how great the music is, when that dodgy vocal music haven’t even mixed, mastered or fixed that makes to look silly – period. It should be ensured that everything about the music really lives up to how it is presented online, otherwise the world will take the advice and just “Walk on by”. Sites such as Nimbit, Website Music Player, Reverbnation shop widgets, or other online storefronts too should be tried out which could help drive sales. At the end of the day if there is no ability to purchase from the website or other online touch points, money will be left on the table.

Successful Conduit as To How to Promote Your Music

MySpace and its ilk act as a one-stop band advert where one can upload anything desired: photos, songs, video, text and more. One should limit himself to two or three social networks though – he doesn’t want to spread himself too thinly. As good as MySpace and its mates are, having their own website too looks more professional. Websites are cheap to host and easy to build so there are no excuses. It should be remembered to be updated it as often as the social network profile though. It should be ensured that regular updates and news stories are posted. New photos are added frequently and generally the profile should be kept looking busy. That way one will be seen as a serious, enthusiastic, up-and-coming act. Regular profile/website updates will also keep things interesting for returning fans. An artist biog should be concise, informative and interesting. People don’t want to know that the band was formed “in the first year of university by songwriter Joe Bloggs and producer John Smith” – cut out the background and write something that’s a bit different. Top-notch imagery is crucial if desiring to be noticed online. One must try to present a uniform ‘look’ that fits with the music.

There are plenty of aspiring photographers about who will be willing to take press or live photos and/ or the band for little or no money. They should be taken advantage of. If being an independent act, the goal should be to get the music heard as much as possible. One should be aware that people are much more inclined to listen if he offers the occasional track for free. If it is decided not to give away the music then at least the streaming full-length versions of your tracks should be offered rather than short clips. Networking with other artists and bands by keeping in regular contact and giving feedback on their music means one is likely to find gig partners and be asked to play support slots. Musicians are also generally more interested as fans when it comes to independent music. Replying to mails and friend requests can sometimes be a chore but one must try to avoid blanket “thanks for the add” messages. If things are kept personal one is far more likely to be remembered and if the audience likes him, they’ll be predisposed to like his music.

While it’s important to keep in touch with fans, repeated spam is annoying, so it is pretty important to reserve mass messaging for special events. It’s far more effective to tailor the messages and gig invites to individuals or small groups of people – there’s no point telling someone from Land’s End that one’s gigging in Dundee. It can be tempting to add every person coming across, but when it comes to MySpace, high profile views is what makes everyone look good and not the friend count. It should be ensured to add only valuable friends who will like the music and visit the profile. The sad truth is that the quality of the music won’t always be enough to get one noticed. One must try doing a blog, a quiz, a gimmick – anything that will make his website or profile a bit different and interesting.

Realtor Websites: The Good, The Bad, and the Just Plain Ugly

As our culture becomes more and more dependent on the internet many realtors, in a panic to not be left behind, are putting up their own web pages in order to cast an advertising net into the online sea of prospective clients. However, just as you wouldn’t go fishing with a net that you tied together yourself out of odds and ends of string that you found in your pocket, you shouldn’t try to catch clients with a homemade, cobbled-together website either.

Many people don’t understand the reaction that clients have to poorly constructed websites. This may be from a lack of exposure to well designed sites, a lack of exposure to the internet, or just a complete lack of common sense. Some of the websites floating around in cyber space these days make one wonder if the person who constructed it has ever tried to navigate a website much less get information or products from it.

On the internet there are myriad Frankenstein websites, attractive only for their use as the antithesis of good taste and effectiveness. Many websites use poorly thought out colours and fonts, making them ugly and hard to read. Others are difficult to navigate or haven’t been checked out in different browsers for usability. Sometimes you come across websites that force you to listen to the agent’s favourite country music or sounds of running water, both of which are more likely to make a prospective client to immediately close the browser window than hang around to check you out.

If you have a website now, take a look at how it looks and functions. There are many flaws that a site can have that make it less appealing to prospective clients, but some of them will just make them look elsewhere for a less irritating site to search for properties on. Remember that your website shouldn’t just appeal to you; it needs to appeal to people who want to hire you.

When you put up a website advertising yourself it becomes a reflection of your competency in your profession. A garish and awkward site will, at best, make you look like you have poor taste. Just as it is in a seller’s best interest to hire a professional, YOU, it is in your best interest to do the same.

Cassie born Cassandra Ventura is platinum selling recording artist whose music videos, energetic dance moves and hit singles catapulted her to instant stardom. Famed for her stylish dance driven trademark Cassie music videos plus catchy urban songs this singer was tipped as one to watch and a potential urban superstar. Her first album was released in 2006 and was entitled “Cassie”. Two singles were released which became hits. The first was the cool and funky “Me & U” which featured an equally cool and funky Cassie music video and the second was the upbeat catchy melodic “Long Way To Go”. Both tracks became hit singles and helped make “Cassie” her debut album a big success. The video “Long Way To Go” was directed by Erik White and shot in Los Angeles and features Cassie dancing and singing and having fun on a social networking website turning away possible suitors.

P Diddy Cassies musical mentor and friend recently said that Cassie is back in the studio recording a follow up album provisionally entitled “Electro Love” with hot shot producers Pharrell and The Neptunes, Kanye West and there are also rumours of collaborations with Ryan Leslie, Swizz Beats, Bryan-Michael Cox and super producer and the DarkChild himself Rodney Jerkins. No word on yet this album will be released but with this sort of talent involved we can expect more of the same from Cassie another smash hit album and some more great Cassie songs and some more trademark hip hop dance driven Cassie music videos.
