Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber Top Bing.Com’s Most Searched Musicians Of The Year

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are the most searched musicians in 2010. The meat dresser and the tween heartthrob beat music icon Michael Jackson as the most searched musician, according to Bing.com.

Proving once more that 2010 is their year, the 24-year-old “Bad Romance” hitmaker and the 16-year-old Canadian singer placed first and second on the list, even besting the King of Pop, who placed third.

The Top Searched Musicians in 2010 is created by the Microsoft-owned search engine based on the search trends for the year.

Controversial pop stars Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears round up the top five, while Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Lil’ Wayne, Bret Michaels, and Carrie Underwood are at 6th to 10th places respectively.

Other newsmakers include Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Eminem, and Rihanna, who make the eleventh to fifteenth ranks of the list.

Brooke Mueller Re-Enters Sober Living House

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Charlie Sheen’s soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller has checked back into a sober living house a week after being rumored to spend the Thanksgiving holiday there. Her lawyer insists that it was her own decision to enter the facility to “maintain her health.”

Attorney Yale Galanter told TMZ that his client did not have a relapse. Brooke is apparently free to come and go as she pleases.

As to what prompted the decision, sources said that she felt weak, telling E! News, “She has battled with addiction for many years. She didn’t use, she just felt weak and didn’t want to relapse. She said that the holidays are hard for her.”

Brooke is currently filming a reality show that stars pal Paris Hilton. And since the show is in Vegas next week and will be on hiatus after, she thought that now is the perfect opportunity to work out her issues.

She was spotted being escorted from a hotel to a sober living facility in Beverly Hills on Thanksgiving morning. It was not revealed why she needed treatment then.

Josh Duhamel Kicked Off Plane For Refusing To Turn Off Blackberry

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Josh Duhamel, star of the “Transformers” films and Mr. Fergie himself, was kicked off an airplane Thursday after refusing to turn off his Blackberry before takeoff.

According to TMZ, Duhamel was heading from New York’s La Guardia Airport to Kentucky when he had to be asked three times by a flight attendant to turn off his phone, to which he refused.

Duhamel, 38, was being “very rude” and “taunting the attendant,” a passenger told TMZ. He even reportedly laughed at the attendant’s third request.

The flight attendant then called for backup and the plane, already delayed and on the runway for departure, had to be turned back to the gate, where two officers boarded and escorted the actor off the plane.

The flight was delayed for 90 minutes, angering passengers even further.

Duhamel’s rep stated, “The incident obviously happened and he’s sorry.”

College Football Hall of Fame Relocating To Atlanta By 2013

Atlanta, GA, United States (AHN) – Tons of fans will flock to the Southeastern Conference title game in Atlanta Saturday afternoon. In 2013, hundreds of thousands of fans will travel to the city’s College Football Hall of Fame.

According to a report from WSBTV.com, the Hall of Fame will be built on a parking lot adjacent to he Georgia World Congress Center, Philips Arena and the Georgia Dome.

The current hall of fame is located in South Bend, Ind. and has struggled with attendance.

Gov. Sonny Perdue said he believe the facility will be successful because the South has a passion for football and the fans to go with it.

“That’s some place. I want to take my grandchildren and you think about that destination venue and all the things that are there for them to observe,” Perdue said.

According to the report, the facility is expected to open in March, 2013, just prior to the Final Four, which is scheduled for the Georgia Dome that year.

“There are two conventions coming to town in 2013 and 2014 that want to rent the whole facility out for parties,” said Gary Stokan, president and CEO of the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and Atlanta Hall Management.

The new facility will cost at least $50 million, with $8 million coming from the city of Atlanta.

The state of Georgia is adding $10 million in bonds, and the remainder of the money will come from private business and Atlanta’s larger corporations.

Girl With Tiny Waist Wins Cycle 15 Of “America’s Next Top Model”

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – The wannabe model whose ridiculously small waist has landed Tyra Banks in trouble is now “America’s Next Top Model.” 19-year-old Ann Ward beat Chelsey Hersley in the cycle 15 show finale Wednesday.

It can be remembered that Banks faced criticism after the commercial of the show surfaced in September, wherein she seemed in awe of Ann’s really slim waist. She then apologized for making it appear that she was glamorizing extreme thinness in modeling, blaming it on how the preview was edited.

But Ann, a 6’2″ self-confessed insecure girl from Dallas, Texas, was able to impress the judges week after week with her photos. She was able to nab the title from fourteen other girls who made it to the show’s first episode, and ultimately beat Chelsey for the crown.

Ann wins a spread and a cover on Italian Vogue, a modeling contract with IMG, and a $100,000 Cover Girl Cosmetics contract.

She said, “I’m so honored right now. All those comments about being tall and just not normal. They’re going to look back and feel ‘I should have been so nice to that girl.’”

Suspect In Death Of Hollywood Publicist Commits Suicide

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – A suspect in the murder of Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen killed himself Wednesday evening as police approached to question him. The man shot himself in the head moments before he was about to be arrested.

According to reports, detectives investigating the slaying of the veteran Hollywood insider were attempting to serve a search warrant and question a man at a Hollywood apartment house. Investigators were in the lobby trying to speak to a “person of interest” when he pulled out a handgun and fatally shot himself in the head.

The shooting occurred shortly after 6 p.m., the Los Angeles Times reported on its website, citing unnamed sources. His identity and relationship to Chasen still remain a mystery.

Those close to the case say the man had been under police surveillance for some time in connection to Chasen’s murder.

The 64-year-old Chasen, a movie and music publicist, was found Nov. 16, slumped over the wheel of her Mercedes Benz dead from several gunshot wounds to the chest. She had just left the “Burlesque” movie premiere and was gunned down in a posh Beverly Hills neighborhood.

Chasen’s death has fueled numerous conspiracy and murder-for-hire theories.

Friends and colleagues of the publicist have offered rewards for information on her murder.

Lindsay Lohan Wants Court To Restrain Paparazzi

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Lindsay Lohan wants to restrain the paparazzi from following her. The controversial starlet claims the paparazzi is hindering her recovery so she’s asking her lawyer to get a restraining order against the photographers from the court.

The L.A. County Probation Department and the DMV previously permitted Lohan to drive again. The Betty Ford Center, the rehab facility she is currently under, apparently also agreed to give her keys to her car.

However, just when she was about to get behind the wheel, the rehab center decided it was too much of a safety risk to allow her to drive again because the paparazzi were creating an unsafe driving situation, according to TMZ sources.

So Lohan emailed her lawyer this weekend and attached pictures of the paps following her. She wants her attorney to go to court and ask for a restraining order.

No decision has been made yet whether or not the paparazzi will be ordered away from the troubled starlet.

Nancy And Ann Wilson Of Heart, Snooki Added To “VH1 Divas Salute The Troops” Line-Up

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – “VH1 Divas Salute the Troops” is going to have even more Heart. The special, which sees female-fronted acts performing for the troops, has added Nancy and Ann Wilson of Heart to the line-up, plus appearances by Brandy and Snooki.

Nancy and Ann Wilson of Heart are set to perform with Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, who will perform at San Diego’s Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. They’ll join previously announced performers Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Sugarland, and Nicki Minaj.

Paramore, fronted by “Airplanes” singer Hayley Williams, will head to an undisclosed military base in the Middle East to visit with the Marines, soldiers, airmen, and more.

Comedian Jeffrey Ross has been added to the line-up as well, while Brandy, supermodel Marisa Miller, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from “Jersey Shore” will present.

For the first time, VH1 has partnered with the USO to bring the iconic event, which has boasted performances from Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Aretha Franklin, and Celine Dion in the past, and the girls to the troops and their families.

“VH1 Divas Salute the Troops,” hosted by Kathy Griffin, will premiere Sunday, December 5th at 9pm ET/PT on VH1.

“Burlesque” Debuts At Disappointing 4th Place At The Box Office Weekend

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Even with the combined star powers of Cher and Christina Aguilera, “Burlesque” can’t take over “Harry Potter” and two animated flicks at the weekend box office. The musical flick performed slightly below its expected gross, but still did fairly well with $11.8 million.

Even with the heavy promotions, “Burlesque” places fourth, behind the wizard flick, the newcomer “Tangled” and “Megamind.”

“Tangled,” meanwhile was close behind box office topper “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1″ with a strong $49.1 million during the weekend box office and a total of $69 million over five days.

Other newcomers this weekend are “Love and Other Drugs” and “Faster,” which are at sixth and seventh place with $9.9 million and $8.7 million respectively.

Tiger Woods’ Mistresses To Hold “Anniversary” Party Of His Car Crash

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Tiger Woods’ mistresses are still desperately clinging onto fame. Three of the golfer’s flings are holding a one-year “anniversary” party of his infamous one-car crash accident, which led to the revelation of his infidelity.

Holly Sampson, Jamie Jungers and Joslyn James, three of Woods’ over a dozen mistresses, are going to hold a lavish “reunion” cocktail party at the ZIN Bistro in Los Angeles on December 3. Woods’ accident, in which he hit a fire hydrant and a tree with his Cadillac Escalade, happened on November 27.

ZIN Bistro owner Rouz Yaz told RadarOnline.com, “It’s going to be a great night. I’m excited to have the girls here. We’re going to have signature cocktails, great music and complete blast as only Holly, Jamie and Joslyn can throw.”

“Tiger is also welcome to join the party.”

Woods’ relationship with mistress no.1 Rachel Uchitel was revealed by the National Enquirer two days before the accident.
