Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Among the songs we’re sure to hear during the third season of “Glee” is “Pomp & Circumstance.” The “Glee” kids are going to graduate from McKinley High and the show in 2012.

The show’s creator Ryan Murphy confirmed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that Rachel, Finn, Quinn and the other characters in their junior year last season will enter the new season as seniors, and as such, will stay true to the high school experience and graduate at the end of the year.

There will then be new characters introduced, with Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch staying on the show as, what he says, are “the male and female lynchpins of the series.”

“I don’t think of it in terms of eliminating or replacing. Because I think the thing about this cast is people love them and they are incredibly talented. They’ve left sort of an indelible mark,” he said.

“The thing that I wanted to do and the cast wanted to do, we didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,” Murphy continued. “We really wanted it to be true to that experience. We thought it would be really cool if we were true to the timeline.”

And “Glee” is already getting to get things moving Menudo-style. Casting calls are arleady out for some of the new roles and the winner of “The Glee Project,” the new competition show on Oxygen, will feature on seven episodes in the fall.

Some of the stars have already lined up post-”Glee” projects. Naya Rivera scored a record deal, while Cory Monteith is starring opposite Selena Gomez in this summer’s “Monte Carlo” and Lea Michele scored roles in the ensemble romance “New Year’s Eve” and the animated “Dorothy of Oz.”

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Lady Gaga is the latest superstar fan of infamous “Friday” singer Rebecca Black. The “Born This Way” singer said she thinks the 13-year-old is a genius.

At a Musicians@Google event Tuesday, Gaga defended the teen singer, who’s been widely mocked all over the internet to the tune of over 43 million views (and over 554,000 dislikes).

“I think it’s fantastic,” Gaga said. “I say Rebecca Black is a genius and anyone that’s telling her she’s cheesy is full of s—.”

We wouldn’t say she’s a genius. Her parent’s paid $2,000 to the Ark Music Factory to have her record the track, which she didn’t write, and the video.

But Gaga isn’t the first celeb to come out in support of the singer. Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have all shown her some love.

Black also stopped by the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Tuesday. She lip-synched to her single after a short interview.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Willow Smith has been whipping her hair all over the country in support of her first single and now the 10-year-old singer is back with her second single off her upcoming debut album.

Smith goes the dance route on “21st Century Girl,” which she debuted on the Ryan Seacrest Show on Monday. The track is available for listening online and will hit iTunes on Tuesday, March 1st.

Willow will perform the track, which was produced by Twin & Alke, for the first time on Tuesday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

A music video for “21st Century Girl” has already been shot and was directed by Rich Lee, who also filmed music videos for The Black Eyed Peas.

“21st Century Girl” follows up her platinum single “Whip My Hair,” which was released last year and became an international top 10 smash.

Along with dropping her new single, Willow’s got a busy month. She’s supporting Justin Bieber on some overseas tour dates, beginning March 4th in Birmingham and continuing on through March 24th in Nottingham Arena.

Willow’s debut hip-hop track “Whip My Hair” has been making waves on YouTube. It has already over 100,000 views just one day after it was released.

Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z has signed the budding star because he said he sees a superstar in her.

He told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview, “I heard the record before I knew it was recorded by a nine-year-old and I was like, man that record’s a smash. I believe in superstars, I believe in big records and in superstars and I think [she] has both.”

“She has a child’s innocence but she has a clear vision of who she is and who she wants to be. I can only imagine that’s how Mike [Michael Jackson] was as a young kid, he knew exactly what he wanted.”

And for those who think Willow is too young for the industry, Jay-Z said, “When you have that sort of talent, there is no such thing as too young.”

Willow is also making a name for being a fierce fashionista. She is usually seen accompanying her brother and her parents on the red carpet wearing edgy styles and a funky hair cut.
