J. Cole to kick off MTV’s “Sucker Free Road to Release”

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Rapper J. Cole will kick off MTV2′s “Sucker Free Road to Release” on Wednesday.

Cole, who is the first artists signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, will premiere the video for his single “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Trey Songz.

“J. Cole is the perfect first artist to kick off ‘Sucker Free Road to Release’,” Amy Doyle, executive VP, Music and Talent, MTV & MTV2 said in a statement.

“His album is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and fans are hungry for more access to him,” she added.

The video will premiere at 10 p.m. ET/PT during the “Block Party” nighttime programming block on MTV2 and then across all of MTV’s platforms on September 15th.

J. Cole’s debut album “Cole World: The Sideline Story” will be released on September 27th.

The next single, Jay Electronica Exhibit C, posted online and reaching similar status among fans, also made its way to MTV2 where it received an award as an “Instant Classic” from the station’s Sucker Free Summit Awards. Jay Electronica was quickly on his way to major stardom.

This fledgling rapper continues to make a name for himself through the use of social networking sites. His music and videos are regularly posted on Twitter, MySpace and other similar sites. As downloads are available free of charge, fan sites have popped up all over the internet, with links appearing on each page for Jay Electronica lyrics and music.

Each link that appears only serves to bring the Jay Electronica name to the ears of more potential fans. The buzz created online has lead to numerous interviews of the young rapper with major industry magazines.

The combined live performances of the artist and the successful internet marketing activities he has employed have brought him much attention within the hip hop scene. He gained audiences with big names in the industry and quickly won them over, ultimately culminating in the signing of a contact with Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation.

Jennifer Lopez lines up Taio Cruz, Lil Wayne for second single from “Love?”

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Jennifer Lopez scored her biggest hit in years with her Pitbull-featuring, Lambada-sampling single “On the Floor.” She’s already got its follow-up ready to hit dance floors soon as well.

“I’m Into You” is set to be the second official single off Lopez’s long-awaited new album “Love?,” album, which is set to feature productions from RedOne, Tricky Stewart, and The-Dream.

She also sought out some collaborative help for the second single. It was written by singer Taio Cruz, which whom she collaborated on a remix of his smash “Dynamite.”

“You got me hooked with your love controller/ I’m tripping and I can not get over,” Lopez sings on the track.

It also features rapper Lil Wayne on the track. She recently named him as her current favorite rapper over longtime favorite Nas for his “fresh” and “unique” voice. “Plus he’s on my new single!” she said recently in a web chat.

“On the Floor,” featuring Pitbull, is currently at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Love?” is currently slated to hit stores on April 19th.

Many people around the world like hip-hop and rap music, but it ends there. They are completely passionate about listening to hip hop, living the hip hop lifestyle, but for some reason, they don’t create their own hip hop!
