Music is an art of creating different sound from different instrument. Music instrument are divided into four categories:

Chordophones instruments: it plays when the string is pluck or bowed. Guitar, violin, cello and other string instrument comes under this category.

Wind instrument: a sound is generated when air enter through hole and vibrate. For example flute sax or pipes. Otherwise known as aero phones.

Percussion instruments: drums, bell and bongos fall under the idiophones.

Keyboards instrument: piano, organs and harpsichords.

With the new technologies raising the music instrument can be purchased online.

Tips on buying music instrument:

How do you know which is instrument is of good quality or of poor quality?. Some of the tips before buying an instrument are listed below:

A music instrument showroom has many kinds of guitar or piano in different size, shapes and of course the brands. So purchasing music instrument might be a bit difficult job for the beginners. A beginner can’t judge the sound and quality of an instrument. So always test the instrument by playing them. If you don’t know to play a guitar or piano ask the person who works there to play for you and feel the sound of the instrument. This may help you to find the best and good quality instrument. The price of an instrument varies so does the quality. If the value of an instrument is expensive then you will get the best quality. But it is not that you won’t get good quality instrument in lesser value. When you buy an instrument make sure to take some one who knows to play along with you.

When you buy guitar, try playing all the notes and a fret shouldn’t occur. The best way to test the quality of a guitar is to play the harmonics. The best investment among the instruments is the piano. There is no limit when it comes to buying a drum set. People often gets confuse in buying a drum set for their children. There shouldn’t be any scratch or damage to any piece of the drum set. If you are a beginner then you can go for a 5 piece drum set because these set cost a lot.

If you are planning to buy music instrument which is less expensive then go for second hand instrument. There are both advantage and disadvantage in choosing a used instrument. The advantage is it saves money but there is no guarantee for the instrument. Learn more about the instrument from the seller such as when was the instrument brought, how often it was played, has any damage or repair have occurred etc.

Miami, FL, United States (AHN) – A grand piano has mysteriously appeared on a sandbar in the middle of Miami’s Biscayne Bay. The piano, which only recently appeared, is about 200 yards from Quayside condominiums in Miami Shores.

Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, said authorities will not remove it unless it begins to pose a danger to boaters or wildlife.

“We are not responsible for removing such items,” Pino said. “Even a car can become a habitat for wildlife… Unless the item becomes a navigational hazard, the Coast Guard would not get involved.”

Statements from marine patrols of both the North Miami Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the same thing.

Grand pianos typically weigh at least 650 pounds and are difficult to move. Whoever put it there placed it at the highest point of the sandbar so it remains out of water during high tide. They also didn’t fit it in a rowboat, so bringing it out there obviously took some planning, horsepower, and manpower.

The shape of the piano is visible from the shore and from Quayside condos, however closer inspection with binoculars shows that seagulls now use it as a resting place.

There are many people who would like to be able to sit down and play a musical instrument, either to entertain others or simply for their own relaxation. If you wish that you had never stopped your music lessons when you were a young child, you should know that there are new and improved ways to rediscover your talent for music. Although you might have been frustrated by teachers and difficult concepts about music when you were younger, there are better and more fun ways to go about learning music today. If you are pressed for time, and are just looking for a way to get started very quickly, you should know that there are ways to learn piano online for a fraction of what it would cost to have private lessons. Although you will still have to practice a little bit, you can learn the piano in just minutes a day at your own convenience.

The first thing that you will have to do is choose an online tutor program or teacher that will be able to walk you through the initial steps of learning the piano. Although there are some programs that simply provide you with a series of lessons and expect you to walk yourself through the process, these are the tutorial programs that typically fail. You will want to choose a program that provides you with a combination of direct support and learning, as well as assignments that you can complete on your own. Eventually you will get to the point where your online teacher can tell you to explore a piece of music on your own for a week, and you will come back to the next lesson already able to play it.

When you are choosing an online program for learning the piano, you will also want to make sure that the program or the teacher can offer you enough lessons to keep you interested. There are some programs that only offer five or six lessons before they declare that you have learned the piano and you are ready to move on. This is not really learning the piano, and you will probably lose interest very quickly. Instead, look for a program that can take you from beginner to intermediate or even advanced pieces. You should also ask whether or not the teachers can help you learn different pieces that you want to play for your friends and family. The program should be flexible so that you can learn the pieces that make you happy.

The teacher of the online program should be able to instruct you about how to hold your hands, reading music and playing both hands at once. You should be able to start with very simple pieces that will reinforce what you already know about the keys and the location of certain notes. If you don’t see the progress that you would like in the first few lessons, write an email to your teacher and voice your concerns. Chances are you’ll just need to take a different approach.

With the advent of the internet there is no longer any excuse for not learning music if a person wants to learn. Learning music online has revolutionized learning, since it is the first time in history that anyone with a computer can virtually find out anything they want to know about music — and find out quick!

There are sites galore teaching everything about music from chords to trombone lessons to drum lessons to music theory lessons to guitar lessons to piano lessons, and a whole lot more. Many are free while others charge a very reasonable tuition. But think what a bargain that is; no travel, no traffic jams; no rescheduling lessons; no missed lessons; and because the lessons are online (or in some cases on CD’s and DVD’s) they can be replayed over and over until the lesson is thoroughly learned, which is not the case in a personal lesson or a college classroom. You have one chance to understand, and if you don’t, you’re immediately behind the curve and have to do extra studies to catch up. Not so with online music lessons.

Back just 15 years ago if an individual wanted to learn music, about the only places he or she could do so would be from a private teacher, a music school of some sort — private or public or correspondence, or self-taught from a music book. All of which is fine, but slow if an individual is really chomping at the bit to learn, and learn fast.

But today there are literally hundreds of sites on the internet from which any ambitious person can access and learn virtually anything they want about music. There are sites dealing with music instruction for beginners as well as college-level sites that deal with figured bass and advanced music theory and composition issues, as well as improvisation and arranging music.

For example, there are piano lesson sites that teach how to improvise — all styles of improvisation including jazz, rock, gospel, new age music and more. There are piano instruction sites that shows you how to play piano sheet music as a map, instead of having to sight read the printed music as it is written. By learning how to do this, you can create your own free piano sheet music by creating a song and then notating it in a music software program such as Finale using piano tabs, piano chords, and chord symbols. A person can learn to play piano notes by the fist-full by learning piano chording music styles.

Learning to play the piano, learning to read piano music, learning piano songs from classical music to popular music is one of the most fun things a person can do. There are piano lessons online using major chords, minor chords, 7th chords, and all kinds of chord progressions. Learning to play the piano music of your dreams using piano chords & piano chording techniques is now within the reach of anyone with an internet connection! And don’t forget harmony and music theory — including scales and fingering of scale and chord passages in musical scores and sheet music — it’s all available online. Music history and music appreciation is important too — guys like Bach & Mozart & Beethoven & Chopin knew what they were doing — and we can learn much from them and stand on their shoulders simply by accessing the biggest library in the history of mankind — the cyber library of the internet.

Here are just a few of the phrases you can search online that will lead you to sites where you can learn music online (I have used piano and guitar as an example, but obviously you can search for anything from singing lessons to drum lessons to harp playing and everything in between):

*	piano lessons

*	music lessons

*	guitar lessons

*	guitar chords

*	piano chords

*	how to form chords

*	chord piano

*	play guitar

*	play piano

*	learn guitar

*	learn piano

*	guitar playing

*	piano playing

*       learn music online

You will find that if you type “music lessons online” into the Google search box, you will come up with something like eight million results! “Piano lessons” will call up about a million and a half, while “guitar lessons online” will bring up over two million search results.

With this abundance of material online, there is no excuse for anyone who really wants to learn music to not avail themselves of the opportunity, especially when they realize that this is the first time in the history of the world that this riches of knowledge has been available with just the click of a mouse.

You can sign up for Duane’s free 101-week online e-mail newsletter titled “Amazing Secrets Of Exciting Piano Chords & Sizzling Chord Progressions” which now has over 70,000 current subscribers worldwide.

Why should anybody look for a keyboard with 88 keys? On first instance, the obvious reason that comes out is that one may not be able to afford a piano with the traditional looks – be it acoustic or digital.

Cost, and to some extent the fact that it needs more space are the primary reasons for someone choosing a keyboard which has 88 keys. Somebody who has started to learn keyboards on 61 keys, and is inclined to go to the advanced level, will need a keyboard with 88 keys. Whatever is the style of music that you want to learn – classical, jazz, blues, etc. you will need 88 keys to play the advanced pieces.

But moving to a digital piano is a costlier option than may be getting your 61-key exchanged for a keyboard which has 88 keys, if budget is of high consideration. If you add the advantage of portability to it, it seems even more rational to go in for that since you can even take it along with you if you need to perform.

If you are worried about what sort of keys these keyboards will have, then relax. You get keyboards that have graded hammer action as well, similar to that on acoustic grand pianos. So the touch and feel of your keyboard is not going to change. You also have the option of attaching sustain pedals to these keyboards.

There are a lot of manufacturers out there who make music keyboards that have more than 61 keys. You can explore Yamaha, Roland, and Korg keyboards if you are looking for 88 key keyboards.

Looking for a digital keyboard with more than 61 keys? Have a look at the Yamaha YPG series of keyboards. These are the grand size keyboards with 88 keys, and can be used for playing all the piano pieces.

Are you an intermediate level keyboard player who wants to graduate from his 61 key electronic keyboard to an 88 key musical keyboard? Are you interested in playing classical music, or want to learn a lot of advanced pieces?

An 88 key keyboard is what you will need, and the Yamaha YPG series produces one of the best 88 key keyboards, also known as grand size keyboards. The YPG series keyboard is primarily meant for the North American market, and contains the usual hundreds of musical styles and voices.

But a lot of people prefer these keyboards because of the availability of weighted keys in this series of keyboards, which resembles more like a piano. This way they can use it for piano practice and it also gives them the flexibility to carry them around, since they are comparatively light weight.

As you go higher in the series, the more expensive ones contain graded hammer action which exactly simulates the keys on a grand piano. The keys are harder to play in the lower octaves and lighter in the higher octaves. But because of the graded hammer action, the weight also comparatively increases.

Some of the models in this series include – the ypg 635, ypg 535, and the ypg 235. So if you are looking for a keyboard with more than 61 keys, if you love playing songs on top of a backing rhythm, then you need to consider a Yamaha YPG keyboard. This series contains both 76 keys keyboards as well as 88 keys keyboards.

Bangla 2010 | Music – Adhunik Gaan -Do you really need college to learn to play music?
Music courses are a great way to learn about virtually any area of music; history, theory, and musical instrument instruction — you name it and somewhere music courses specialize in it.Visit Here Now http://bengoli-gaan.blogspot.com

Though generally found through colleges, universities or high school programs, music courses are also offered via one-on-one instruction with a private teacher or community-based workshops. Some churches even offer music courses as a complement to their choirs; the music courses may be offered to the general public, but they’re often geared toward the choir members and congregation.

In the last few years, however, a new dimension to learning music has appeared in the form of the internet – the world wide web. Now instead of being limited to classroom
courses, students are free to create their own schedules and learn at their own pace. A quick search on Google or Yahoo will turn up online courses in:

-Chord Piano

-Classical Piano For Beginners

-Improvising on the Piano & Guitar

-Rock Guitar

-Praise & Worship Guitar

-Killer Drum Instuctions

-Black Gospel Piano

-Jazz Piano

and many many more…

Music courses offered by colleges are generally far more in-depth than other music courses and are usually only available to degree-seeking students (though some colleges offer music courses as part of their continuing education programs). Lower level college music courses often focus on an amalgamation of music theory and history, teaching individual theory concepts based on the historical period to which they are particular. As the music courses grow in skill level so too does the number of specialized topics. Advanced music courses are available for nearly every historical music period and are sometimes based on one particular movement. Advanced music courses for theory grow increasingly more difficult and slowly teach every detail found in modern music theory; it’s during the theory music courses that students intending to major in music have their skills challenged the most — some even refer to these music courses as a weeding out period.

Instrument-based music courses are equally as tough at the college level, though they usually assume a working knowledge of the instrument before the class begins. Those wishing to learn an instrument, therefore, are better off with private music courses or music courses offered by a community orchestra or social group. These music courses will focus on the basic details of learning an instrument, starting from the very beginning. Fingering, theory and music reading will be covered, in addition to the occasional bit of history. Students of these music courses may then wish to move on to college-level music courses after completing a few years of private instruction.

But for those more interested in “recreational music” – in other words, music that is played for personal enjoyment or to entertain family and friends, college music classes are not at all necessary. The internet abounds with wonderful courses that will help you do everything from play at your church to accompany your child on their flute or trombone, or even play in a jazz or rock or fusion or country group. Visit Here Now http://bengoli-gaan.blogspot.com

Have you ever had the chance to hear a real gospel musician sing their heart out? Regardless of whether or not you are a very religious person, there is something uplifting about hearing music that makes you clap your hands and tap your feet. When you are singing and playing gospel music, you can leave all your troubles behind and really immerse yourself in the power of the notes. Although many people that play piano gospel have been studying it for years, there is something to be said for a little motivation and a lot of dedication to something that you love. If you are eager to start learning this inspirational music for yourself, you should know that you don’t have to spend hours a day on it. There are simple songs that you can improvise and improve until they sound just like the gospel that you know and love.

If you’ve never really thought about playing this kind of music on the piano before, you should know that you can learn it very quickly because this and all church music is basically based on the simple chords and keys that most people use to play hymns. All you have to do is learn a little bit of the most basic theory to know that chords are made up of two or more notes struck on the piano at the same time. Unless you are playing an octave, which is a chord made up of higher and lower registers of the same note, every time you strike a chord, you are creating a little harmony. This harmonious combination of sounds is the basis for gospel and all other music. Basically, chords teach you that some notes sound good together, while others do not.

If you understand the notes that make up the foundational chord of the gospel music that you want to play, you will be able to sound notes and chords that will always sound good with the melody. It also helps that most gospel songs utilize a common rhythm, this means that you will be able to sense when the beginning of the next beat is going to fall, and that’s when you can strike your chord. The best thing that you can do to get started playing piano in the gospel style is to listen to recordings of some of your favorite songs and try to pick out the basic harmonies and melodies on the keyboard.

This process is typically known as playing by ear, and you should know that many of the most famous early gospel piano players learned to play in this exact manner. Many people didn’t have the time or the education to learn to read sheet music, so they simply picked out the melodies they like by ear instead. This method will help you harmonize with any type of gospel musician without necessarily knowing the song. Familiarize yourself with a lot of different types of gospel music and styles before you settle on the one you want to play.

Sheet music can be expensive to purchase on a regular basis. If you want to expand your piano music library without spending a lot of money, download free sheet music from the Internet. A simple Internet search for “free sheet music,” “free piano music” and “piano music online” opens up many avenues for you to explore. Consider even more variations and your website possibilities will overflow.

Many sites offer total access to their piano music library. Others permit limited access to free sheet music. If you desire their full complement of music, you may have to sign up for a membership and pay a fee. However, even limited access to their free resources may give you the music you require.

The best sheet music sites allow you to refine your search for piano tunes. Many have detailed search functions that let you search by artist, genre or period. You can specify Baroque or Impressionist classical music and find what you need quicker. You can perform a search that narrows things down even more, for example, indicating you want “Jazz Christmas Tunes.” You can be as specific as you need to be on a quality piano music website.

When searching for free piano music, you will find music directories that list other sites that can offer piano music. These directories are a valuable resource. With these sites you obtain links to a host of other sites containing a wide variety of music. A good piano music site often has little extras. Some supply the sheet music in a PDF format for download.

Many sites supply free piano music and have accompanying audio files that allow you to listen to songs as you print them. Some incorporate free music lessons and piano tutorials in a digital feed format. You can find lots of free piano music online by joining a music forum. Here you can chat with other musicians and share information about where to find the piano music you need. You will find that others often know about less popular websites that have great databases of free sheet music. You cannot efficiently search every website in cyberspace yourself; why not get help from those who already know where the good ones are?

Another great source for free piano music is university or college online libraries. You can find specific music to download on many of these sites. Many of these also provide links to even more sites that have free sheet music downloads. A university site is a wonderful resource for older collections of piano music as well.

One caveat is to be sure the sites are truly free sites. Don’t be lured into giving out your credit card number as a one-time administration fee or anything like that. While you may access a lot of music, you did pay. You may find you will pay even more if you do not read the fine print and have authorized monthly payments on your card for a membership to a site.

A savvy searcher can find tons of free piano music online. Free piano music from reputable websites can provide you with an endless stream of music for your enjoyment.
