Janet Jackson To Tour In 2011

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Janet Jackson has announced what she describes as her “largest ever world tour” to take place in 2011, where she’ll perform all of her hits off last year’s “Number Ones” collection.

“Many of asked, ‘When will I tour again?’ Well, today I’m really excited to answer that question and to announce my largest ever world tour, celebrating 35 #1′s,” Janet said.

The cities have yet to be announced because the fans get to demand the cities she performs in. She’ll perform in for 35 dates across the globe next year. A list of cities is available for voting at www.janetjackson.com.

Among the cities eligible for voting are New York, Los Angeles, Miami in the States, and even Hong Kong, Singapore, and Milan, Italy overseas.

“Number Ones” features over 30 of Janet’s biggest hits, including “Rhythm Nation,” “If,” “Nasty,” and her latest #1 dance hit “Make Me.”

Her upcoming world tour is Janet’s first since 2008′s “Rock Witchu” Tour, which featured Janet performing songs from her latest album “Discipline.”

Swiss Design Award Exhibition To Be Held In Miami

Miami, FL, United States (AHN) – Every two years an international jury of design greats rewards the best Swiss designers in categories such as communications, textiles, products, furniture and fashion; they are presented with the Swiss Design Award. The award winners take their victory tour around the globe with an exhibition, and the exhibition will be in Miami this year.

The Swiss Design Award exhibition in Miami and Swiss designers have a reputation for style, creativity and innovation. Starting Nov. 30 through Dec. 4, the best of the Swiss designers chosen will have their designs shown at Vitra @ 4141 Design in the Miami Design District.

The prize is awarded every other year by the Design Center Langenthal. The winners of the Swiss Design Award represent some of the most prominent companies and innovative individual designers working in Switzerland today.

The design exhibition will also be on display in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.
