Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – If you don’t already have your tickets to be among the first to bid farewell to the characters of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” you might need really need some magic. Fandango announced that the final Potter film, premiering in theaters at midnight, has shattered all previous pre-sale records.

Over 6,000 midnight shows are already sold out, and theater owners are adding showtimes well into the night, some even starting past 3:30am.
“‘Part 2”s midnight show ticket sales have been nothing short of extraordinary,” said Fandango Executive Vice President and General Manager Rick Butler. “In the more than ten years that I’ve been with the company, I’ve never seen so many late night showtimes for a single movie sold out in advance. Thankfully, theater owners are adding new showtimes throughout the night to meet the fan demand.”
