As anyone who has ever made an attempt to learn guitar can tell you, there are many ways to approach this task. So what are the advantages to learning with instructional guitar DVD lessons? First and foremost, if you have an instructional set then you can learn at your own pace and on your own time. There is no set schedule like there is if you were actually driving somewhere to take guitar lessons. When your ready to practice and learn guitar, just pop in the DVD anytime of the day. Need to take a break – just hit the pause button and put down the guitar and do what you need to do. You surely couldn’t do that with an instructor who is getting paid by the hour whether your prepared or not.

Success Stories: click here

Another advantage with instructional guitar DVD lessons, is you can always go back and review the information as many times as you need to. Forget the fingering for an A minor scale? Just rewind and watch it again. That way you don’t have to feel stupid by asking the instructor to “please show me again”.

Of course the question that comes to mind is just how affordable are these lessons? On the surface, some of the instructional guitar DVD courses may seem a bit pricey, especially for a beginner guitarist who isn’t even sure if the guitar is something that he or she is going to pursue long term. But upon further review, they actually may be the less expensive way to go and here’s why:

Give us five minutes of your time and well have you playing killer guitar.click here

Almost all instructors are going to try or make it mandatory that you sign a long term contract with them – possibly 6 months worth or lessons or more. What if you put down all that money and decide that guitar playing just isn’t for you after the third lesson? At least with an instructional guitar DVD package you will probably have a window of opportunity to return the DVD’s and get your money back.

You ever wondered how you can play for so long, day after day, sweating over those tab books, and still do not seem to make much progress?

You are definitely not alone! All the greats have found themselves in this very spot at one time or another. I myself found myself in this same predicament at one point of my learning process. I had all the guitar tab books, the magazines, cd’s, videos, everything, but it just seemed like i had hit a wall. It may be just the boredom factor of daily technical lessons, or maybe i had just reached the extent of my technical skills, but it was so frustrating to just sit there and wonder how i was going to get better.

So what i did was put aside all the learning material and turned on the radio. This was the best thing i did to learn how to play guitar. I attempted to play along with the songs that came on, granted it sounded awful, but i started getting the hang of it in no time.

After awhile i started switching the music styles and listening to different kinds of music like classical and jazz. Soon enough i started to notice that my fingers could slide up and down the fret board, and I would know exactly where to go next to play the note I wanted. Soon enough i was playing along to most of these songs and different genres with ease.

I can honestly say this was the time that i learned the most! You can only learn so much technically when you need to switch to just trying your own thing. Now, do not get me wrong, I am not suggesting you stop taking guitar lessons, and learning scales. But at the very least, I would strongly recommend your accompanying your theory with outright improvisation. I think this is a big problem with a lot of players, they are constantly learning the new songs of their favorite bands, note-for-note. Put down those note books, and just play!

My name is John Amherst and as a child i had always wanted to learn how to play guitar. Other children wanted to be a fireman or a policeman…not me, i wanted to be a rock star! But for some reason, i never took lessons and just kept putting it off. Recently i took advantage of an extended holiday from work and decided to dedicate myself to learn how to play guitar. Now i am playing in a local band every weekend and loving life!

If you are here because you want electric guitar training, we’re going to show you what you should and shouldn’t do when getting your electric guitar training! Trust me, there are a lot of things to take into consideration!

Hang on now, because here we go!

The concept of this article is to show YOU, the aspiring guitarist, why exactly you should steer clear of private electric guitar training. I will go more into detail, but private lessons are expensive, they can be an inconvenience, and they can be FLAT OUT unproductive!

Let’s dig deeper into these –

Number One – Cost

Your electric guitar training is likely going to cost you upwards of $25 per HALF hour! Yeah, that’s right – HALF hour! Now if you are like most aspiring musicians, you are going to want to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. Let’s assume that you will want to take two lessons a week. Over just one month’s time, you are looking at a bill of around $200! So for the “small” charge of $200, you will officially get a whole TWO HOURS of training! I don’t know about you, but that seems to be a bit excessive.

My answer to this dilemma? Find a good, online electric guitar training that will cost you a mere FRACTION of normal guitar lessons!

Number Two – Convenience

Let me ask you how convenient is it to travel two times a week to a personal guitar lesson for a half hour? For most people, the drive time alone will exceed the amount of time actually spent with the instructor. In addition to the drive time, how do you expect to retain all the information that get during your LONG half-hour session? It’s true though, most people, when pressured or rushed, tend to forget more than they actually learned. That makes paying for these half hour lessons even worse!

My solution to this problem? Get yourself an online electric guitar training program that will allow you to access your lessons whenever you want and as many times as you want – for a ONE-TIME charge!

Number Three – Effectiveness

I touched on this during the last point, but don’t you think it would be more effective to have all of your lessons there in front of you? You can work on a particular lesson as many times as you want until you get it down. This is much more effective in the first place. Not to mention, that most people learn better when they can actually WATCH and visualize what needs to be done as opposed to reading about it or listening to an instructor.

Can you guess how I’d solve this problem? You got it….get yourself into an electric guitar training program!

In case you haven’t noticed, I am rather biased towards online electric guitar training programs. There is a reason for though – THEY WORK! They are cheaper, more effective and a heck of a lot more convenient. If you are thinking about getting some electric guitar training, stay away from private lessons. They simply do not hold a candle to an online programs.

At the end of the day though, I can’t tell you want to do!

It’s time that we stop giving money to instructors that can really care less about your success as an guitar player. If you want the most dynamic and engaging lessons, it’s time that you go with an electric guitar training program! Visit PlayTheGuitarOnline.info if you want to start playing like a pro!

For years we have seen a big increase in kids who want to learn to play guitar mainly, but also many other instruments.

Given this boom, we can not but see how the opportunities and methods for learning are many more now that only ten years ago. Once it was necessary to go and get guitar lessons from a teacher, who could afford it, once, twice, three times a week, depending on how good you were and how much interested. The teacher taught the tunes and some songs, after some time. But the teacher was paid, and often a lot. Or you could learn to strum something from friends, but unless they were already great musicians, the levels reached were not lofty. There were not programs like garage band and who wanted to hear and check how it sounded, he had no other method than recording a tape and return to the point more or by intuition. To learn how to play your favorite songs, we went into stores and tried to memorize musical scores and arrangements, or we could ask the teacher to write down some.

Now, thanks to the spread of video games where you can learn to play an instrument, a lot of young people has become passionatet in this world. And always thanks to the development of many new technologies learning how to play is much easier and faster. You just have to go to the web and there are demonstration videos, programs that provide all the scores, you can digitally record and then immediately find the place you want to repeat. Yet many of these videos are often poor performances of other guys who want to show off and strut with an instrument. You should pay attention here to choose the right tools.

All these programs are very useful if you have no intention of paying a teacher, but keep in mind that to play really well, you must first learn the basics. To do this, the best method is definitely subscribe to a music school. Learn how to self-learners is certainly very admirable, but it requires a lot of effort and twice the study. At least for the first time, you should better turn to the real experts. If then you are interested in playing your favorite songs, alone or with friends, after learning a solid foundation you can begin to explore their own arrangements of different songs.

In these schools, people of all ages can apply, whether they have previous knowledge in music or they are starting from zero, there will always be a suitable teacher for you. Furthermore you can also choose the tool that you like, not just the usual guitar. Try to space, with the mind and fingers between piano, clarinet, horn, flute, flugelhorn, percussion, sax, trumpet, trombone, tuba. You can also find lessons on sol-fa and music theory.
