Black Box Records artist Bryan King’s first international single Overseas featuring French hip hop phenom Proff and New York rapper Stumik from Wu-Tang Raekwon’s Icewater will soon have its official music video. Bryan King and the featured artists of this track are now busy shooting this music video to be released worldwide before summer 2011. Award-winning French director Eric A. Ceret is directing the cast in the most prestigious parts of South East Asia trendies’ locations. Result should be in line with the hype surrounding the track. Indie Hip Hop label Black Box Records management wish to keep the place secret for now until the official worldwide video release before summer 2011. They expect the video to be among the top hip hop videos of 2011. Bryan King, cited among the “Who’s Hot in Hip Hop 2011″ artists along with Lupe Fiasco and Wiz Khalifa, is a young talented American Hip Hop/RnB artist from California who takes inspiration from his environment and incorporates his observations on life, people and society. His music is diverse and inclusive. There is no need to be a hardcore hip-hop fanatic to enjoy his mellow vocals on tracks ranging from R&B ballads to club anthems.

The lucky encounter between French producer Proff and Bryan King while overseas (in China) should reveal the artistic potential of BK – as he is known to his friends – at the international level. Several music sites such as top hip hop videos site hiphop2china.tv are showcasing Overseas and we are all eagerly waiting for the video and the next tracks of this young star-in-the-making. Black Box Records is an indie hip hop label founded in Hong Kong and active in the promotion of young hip hop artists in Asia and around the world. There are basic things that you want to change the first explosion of new music. Once inside the social life, when time to change the profile and the information that is hip-hop. People need to know the context before you feel comfortable enough to buy the music.

Then you must find the music similar to yours and become friends with them. You want friends of the same type of music; fans can find and buy a new hip-hop, if properly presented. To ensure that the gift can be seen everywhere on the Internet by sending comments on people’s side. For example, go to YouTube, type, Nicki Minaj, and hip-hop and see how thousands of people have commented and added a video. Use these observations to produce a new album from hip-hop fan Nicki Minaj. You start to get more views and comments page, you can send messages to other users. The video is one of the most effective ways to advertise their individual music. Video blogging is interesting to your visitors a core of supporters. Upload your blogs, social networks and all friends of the transfer request. Offer something free on your blog, a free t-shirt or coffee. You’d be surprised what will motivate visitors and they come to you. The best gift you can give advice. Their fans are the people and never want to learn something new. So, good rear attachment is perfect for practice and teaches much of the filming process.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Lady Gaga is the latest superstar fan of infamous “Friday” singer Rebecca Black. The “Born This Way” singer said she thinks the 13-year-old is a genius.

At a Musicians@Google event Tuesday, Gaga defended the teen singer, who’s been widely mocked all over the internet to the tune of over 43 million views (and over 554,000 dislikes).

“I think it’s fantastic,” Gaga said. “I say Rebecca Black is a genius and anyone that’s telling her she’s cheesy is full of s—.”

We wouldn’t say she’s a genius. Her parent’s paid $2,000 to the Ark Music Factory to have her record the track, which she didn’t write, and the video.

But Gaga isn’t the first celeb to come out in support of the singer. Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have all shown her some love.

Black also stopped by the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Tuesday. She lip-synched to her single after a short interview.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Lady Gaga may have gotten a lot of flack for her “Express Yourself”-inspired new single and what some considered a runny performance of it at the Grammys, but “Born This Way” shoots all the way to #1 in its first week, giving Gaga her third #1 single on the chart, following her early chart-toppers “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.”

“Born This Way” sells 448,000 copies in its first week, giving her the biggest first-week digital sales total for a female solo artist, breaking Britney’s just-set record last month for “Hold It Against Me.” The total was earned after just three official days in release, and definitely earned a Grammys boost. The single is also Billboard’s 1000th #1 single since it began charting in 1958.

Katy Perry is up a spot to #2 this week from #3 with “Firework,” selling another 170,000 copies. Bruno Mars is down one to #3 with “Grenade,” selling 143,000 copies. Last week’s #1, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow,” drops three spots to #4 this week, selling 153,000.

Pink is down a spot to #5 this week with “F—kin’ Perfect,” her second single off “Greatest Hits…So Far!!!,” also selling in the 153,000 range. Enrique Iglesias holds in the #6 spot with “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You),” which features Ludacris and DJ Frank E.

Cee Lo Green earns a new peak position with his single “F— You (Forget You)”, which jumps from #16 to #7 this week. It had previously peaked at #7 but also earned a boost thanks to the Grammys, where he performed the track with Gwyneth Paltrow. It sells 148,000 this week.

Rihanna’s “What’s My Name” drops out of the top 10 just as her “S&M” climbs in, jumping all the way from #31 to #8. The single sells 145,000 this week and earns Rihanna her 15th top 10 hit (and third off “Loud.”)

The Black Eyed Peas climb back into the top 10 thanks to a boost from their Super Bowl performance with “The Time (Dirty Bit),” selling 153,000 copies. Britney Spears, meanwhile, closes out the top 10 for another week with her latest, “Hold It Against Me.”

Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 For the Week Ending February 26th, 2011:

1. “Born This Way,” Lady Gaga

2. “Firework,” Katy Perry

3. “Grenade,” Bruno Mars

4. “Black & Yellow,” Wiz Khalifa

5. “F***in’ Perfect,” Pink

6. “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You),” Enrique Iglesias feat. Ludacris & DJ Frank E

7. “F— You (Forget You),” Cee Lo Green

8. “S&M,” Rihanna

9. “The Time (Dirty Bit),” The Black Eyed Peas

10. “Hold It Against Me,” Britney Spears

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Taylor Swift spends another week at #1 on the Billboard albums chart with “Speak Now,” but it’s not all good news. Though a sixth non-consecutive week at #1 is a huge feat for any artist, this week she earns the title of lowest-selling week at #1 in the history of Soundscan sales tracking.

That’s right. Swift earned the stop with a scarily low 53,000 copies. The “Dreamgirls” soundtrack originally held the title back in 2007 when it hit #1 with only 60,000. Now, don’t feel bad for Swift. Her monster-selling album also crosses the 3 million mark in sales, so there’ll be no teardrops on that guitar.

Nicki Minaj jumps back up to #2 this week, selling 39,000 of her “Black Friday” album. Bruno Mars follows in the #3 spot with “Doo Wops & Hooligans,” featuring his current #1 “Grenade,” selling 39,000 copies. Daft Punk’s “Tron: Legacy” soundtrack moves into the #4 spot this week.

Eminem drops down from #2 last week to #5 with “Recovery,” selling 33,000 copies. Rihanna’s “Loud” follows at #6 and Kanye West at #7 with “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” both also selling 33,000 copies.

Mumford & Son’s “Sign No More” is at #8 this week with 31,000 copies sold. At #9 this week is Jason Aldean’s “My Kinda Party,” selling 29,000 copies, while the Black Keys find themselves rebounding from #27 all the way to #10, thanks to an “SNL” performance last week, selling

Billboard Top 200 Albums Week Ending January 8th, 2011:

1. Speak Now, Taylor Swift

2. Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj

3. Doo Wops & Hooligans, Bruno Mars

4. TRON: Legacy, Daft Punk

5. Recovery, Eminem

6. Loud, Rihanna

7. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West

8. Sigh No More, Mumford & Sons

9. My Kinda Party, Jason Aldean

10. Brothers, The Black Keys

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Going to the movies in 2010 was full of surprises. Not only did the summer blockbuster get a brain with “Inception,” but animated kid movies continued to be some of the most satisfying movie-going experiences of the year, and movies like “Kick-Ass” actually did just that. After hundreds of votes, these are the films you chose as the Top 10 Movies of 2010.

Top 10 Movies of 2010

10. Burlesque

A likable Christina Aguilera makes her big-screen debut alongside Cher in this musical comedy that offers nothing new but its rousing musical performances makes this Golden Globe Best Picture nominee worth the ticket price.

9. Black Swan

Intense, disturbing, and completely engrossing, Natalie Portman’s portrayal of Nina Sayers’ plight into her own darkness as she attempts to become the new prima ballerina playing both the White and Black Swan in “Swan Lake” is Oscar-worthy and makes for a psychological ride only Aronofsky is making these days.

8. The Social Network

You like this. The Facebook drama unexpectedly became one of the best movies of the year, thanks to performances by Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield and director David Fincher’s ability to make the film both talky and slow-moving, and at times enthralling.

7. Kick-Ass

This Matthew Vaughn-directed action comedy is just like its title says. No one expected a teen-fronted wannabe superhero movie to be as exhilarating as it is and “Kick-Ass” injected some much needed adrenaline into the genre which had become complacent.

6. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Like “Kick-Ass” before it, “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” is another movie this year that was marching to the beat of its own drum. It’s quirky, creative, and cool, surprisingly offering up one of the funniest and most action-packed movies of the year.

5. Easy A

Emma Stone is full of win in this 80′s-inspired teen comedy that’s so smart and sassily written, it recalls the kind of higher-IQ teen fare like “Clueless” and “10 Things I Hate About You.”

4. Shutter Island

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Dicaprio team up once again for this old-school thriller that weaves an involving yarn that is actually more hurt than helped by its big twist, but still made for one of the memorable movie-going experiences of the year.

3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

What started as special effects-driven yet quite magical kiddie fare has blossomed into an artful, beautifully shot thriller that features the best chemistry between its leads yet and with a real palpable sense of foreboding is the perfect setup for what’s sure to be a proper, satisfying send-off.

2. Toy Story 3

Who knew that we would literally grow up with Woody, Buzz and the gang and that 15 years after the release of the first “Toy Story,” they’d still be yanking heartstrings young and old? “Toy Story 3″ is dark, heartbreaking and yet hilarious, and the best part one of the best cinematic trilogies ever made.

1. Inception

This cerebral yet action-packed and visually satisfying mind-bender is an unlikely summer blockbuster, but it shouldn’t be. “The Dark Knight” director/writer Christopher Nolan shows that films can be complex but completely entertaining. It’s no wonder why readers voted the exquisitely crafted “Inception” as the #1 Top Movie of 2010. Or is this just a dream?

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – The Black Eyed Peas could be in trouble again for not giving proper credit for using a sample on a new song. This time, they’re under fire from none other than KC & The Sunshine Band.

The song in question is off the Black Eyed Peas’ latest album, “The Beginning,” titled “Love You Long Time.” Playing both songs back-to-back, the will.I.am and Fergie duet does sound suspiciously like the 1983 KC hit.

In a new press release, frontman Harry Wayne “KC” Casey asks the Black Eyed Peas to give them credit for sampling on the song. In the liner notes, the only credits are listed to William Adams (will.I.am), Stacy Ferguson (Fergie), and Joshua Alvarez.

“There is no doubt that KC & The Sunshine Band’s song ‘Give It Up’ is strongly featured in the Black Eyed Peas’ song ‘Love You Long Time,’” says the statement.

“I have recently learned that the Black Eyed Peas have utilized my song ‘Give It Up’ in their new composition ‘Love You Long Time’ which appears on their new album,” adds Harry Wayne “KC” Casey.

“I LOVE the Black Eyed Peas and am truly honored that my music has crossed over decades and many types of music genres,” Casey added. “Will.i.am is a great producer and I am thrilled that he is a fan of KC and the Sunshine Band, too.”

Casey may sound like he’s playing nice, but KC & the Sunshine Band’s attorney David Bercuson is already working on remedying the serious legal situation.

It’s not the first time the Peas have been accused of plagiarism. DJ Adam Freeland threatened legal action last year, claiming his song “Mancry” was directly lifted for the Black Eyed Peas’ “E.N.D.” album cut “Party All the Time” without permission. They reportedly reached an undisclosed out-of-court settlement over the dispute.

Declining record sales and increasing demand for free digitalized music has made it harder for record labels and artists to recoup their efforts. It has also made it a lot easier for amateur and independents to create and spread their music to the masses.

A lot of people are buying into the despair and writing the whole music industry off as a goner. Black Star were always optimistic about change. Says founder Robin Sydney, “We believe that everything that is happening to music has created an opportunity for musicians everywhere because record labels and artists must now let go of the past and find new ways to release their music”

Black Star is a bracelet company that wanted to make a difference to the starving music community by helping artists release music on our bracelets mainstream.

Says featured artist Alex Band, “Ive been blessed with success in my career that artists dream of. Ive had number one hits on the Billboard Charts worldwide; “Where Ever You Will Go” with my band The Calling and “Why don’t You and I” with Santana yet its been five years since I put out an album. I had the right people behind me, contacts, fan base and exposure yet the predictable demise in record sales that came after the digitalization of music left me with limited options to put out my music and make a record label a sound investment:”

“When I was approached by Black Star to be the first artist to release a full album on a bracelet I was thrilled. I think Black Star is a revolutionary way to get real music back into stores. I’m relieved that I no longer have to wait for record companies to make things happen for me and that I won’t have to compromise my voice or my message to share my music”

Every Black Star bracelet comes with a unique tag designed by vintage tattoo artist Andy Brodsky plus a free song download by a featured independent artist (our debut featured artist is Alex Band). There are nine bracelets to purchase in store and three to collect online. When you collect all 12 you can download a full featured album. Proceeds of every purchase go to our featured artist’s favorite charity, organ donor organization Donate Life.

Black Star is dedicated to helping independent artists make waves and inspiring talented music artists everywhere to think outside the labeled box and find innovative ways to get their music out there to the people that need to hear it.
