In the first part of this article I shared some very important hypnotic principles and some powerful techniques to help you increase traffic and sales. A quick recap is that we are in much more control of our emotions than we realize and that our own emotions and feelings and moods can effect those around us.
I gave lots of ways that you can use these principle including helping to enhance the mood of your customers through what to say and your attitude and the store or work environment. Here are some more powerful hypnotic techniques to help increase sales. Also, remember that for the techniques that are clear and obvious there are several techniques hidden more below the surface, which is one of the reason they are hypnotic and so powerfully effective.
In part 1, I listed some techniques and principles that help make them work even better.
Then there are the more obvious methods like logos on t shirts that other people see. Customers become walking billboards for those clothing companies and even pay for the clothes to do this. Some people find this works well, while other people feel it is so blatant. Hypnotic techniques have the advantage of being less obvious and so are potentially more effective and less annoying.
2. Create a Buying Ambience Through use of Sounds/Music.
Studies have shown that certain beats in music can relax or stimulate people. This is why in some places the music is slow, like the human heart beat. In other places like a club the music will often be louder and faster paced and bring up the energy ( and possibly the stress will get people to buy more drinks to calm their stressed out nerves…this is for another article )
In the first article I shared some reasons how I learned these techniques and how I helped clients to use them to be more successful. Much of this has to do with what I do and this is so often misunderstood that I will help to make this more clear so you feel even better using these techniques to improve your business.
Being a musician and a writer since I was younger comes in handy when I work with clients who want to be more consistently creative without burning out. Also, I record the music to my hypnosis cds and much of my writing transforms into the hypnosis sessions I do. Also having played in various environments I have witnessed the effects on the audience from the music that I played. Whether it was my own music or whether I was playing on cover bands playing other artist’s music, I was able to notice how certain songs energized people while different songs put them into a much more introspective mood.
These types of moods have much to do with a how a person experiences life. Some moods enhance their willingness to buy more.
Other moods may allow them to enjoy the experience more and remember it, to the point where that place becomes THE place for them to return to again and again. This can create tremendous customer loyalty when they realize that you are the place for them to go to for that special occasion or product or service.
So, although, I primarily work with individuals to be more successful or to change habits such as quitting smoking, I also have the occasional client that owns a small businesses and wants to improve their sales and success.
Many of my clients come to me because they know about my specialty with self confidence—-having been a date coach for years I HAD to prove my confidence and skills and techniques every session. I have to walk the walk the walk and talk the talk and so my clients feel my sincerity and authenticity. They also see the results in the real world and not just in some class room setting.
So I not only do confidence sessions or read from a script because I know the realities that can and will face most people in the dating world and so my sessions take care of what they need to get them ready for success.
Besides confidence and self esteem, I work with helping people to deal better with phobias and to improve how they manage stress. A good reason for my success in helping others is that in some areas of my life I had to find ways to cope myself. I needed to find ways to BE my BEST SELF and so I share those methods with my clients.

3. Enhancing the Mood/Ambience for Customers through use of Lights.
Some environments would improve sales buy increasing customers energy levels while other environments would flourish more with softer, more soothing moods.
Lighting can play a huge role in how a room or business or place feels.
Soft, soothing, subtle lighting can enhance a dining experience along with soft, slow music.
Loud, jarring, plodding rhythms with brightly flashing lights may have an energizing effect on customers making them feel more like buying.
